Facebook is a social networking service and a website that launched in February 2004, owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. As of May 2012, Facebook has over 900 million active users, more than half of them using mobile devices. since then Four out of five Facebook users say they have never bought a product as a result of advertising, the social network site Facebook, underlining, to some observers, the challenges Facebook faces when it comes to drawing in revenue.
Facebook makes all it money by showing you ads, when you click on them ads Facebook makes some $$. so now Facebook needs to come up with a new plan to make more money so Facebook can be free for all to use.
But the next big question is,Does it cost money to use Facebook?
“Facebook is a free site and will never require that you pay to continue using the site. You do, however, have the option of purchasing Facebook credits, which can be used to send gifts or to purchase items on applications or games” Facebook said.
